Para abordar integralmente el desaf\u00edo del sargazo, desde su recolecci\u00f3n hasta su aprovechamiento en diversas aplicaciones, el gobierno municipal dirigido por Lili Campos busca iniciativas para la utilizaci\u00f3n del alga como un paso importante hacia la sostenibilidad ambiental en Solidaridad.<\/p>\n

La Secretaria de Medio Ambiente Sustentable y Cambio Clim\u00e1tico, Lourdes V\u00e1rguez, inform\u00f3 que este 2024 se llevar\u00e1 a cabo la prueba de un equipo desarrollado en Alemania, dise\u00f1ado espec\u00edficamente para aprovechar el sargazo como fuente de combustible y carb\u00f3n.<\/p>\n

Esta innovaci\u00f3n representa un esfuerzo significativo para abordar el problema de manera sostenible y encontrar aplicaciones \u00fatiles para este recurso abundante. \u201cActualmente se utiliza como abono para suelos, pero este a\u00f1o se espera dar un paso m\u00e1s all\u00e1\u201d dijo.<\/p>\n

La titular destac\u00f3 que el a\u00f1o pasado se recolectaron 26 mil 400 toneladas de sargazo y se recuperaron m\u00e1s de 13 mil toneladas de arena.\u00a0 Anticip\u00f3 que la cantidad recolectada del alga para el 2024 ser\u00e1 similar. Debido a lo anterior, dijo que se trabaja y gestiona con la Marina para la instalaci\u00f3n a tiempo de las barreras antisargazo, antes de la posible llegada masiva.<\/p>\n

Asimismo, anunci\u00f3 un aumento en la fuerza laboral dedicada a su recolecci\u00f3n en las playas, con 180 personas involucradas en esta tarea.
